Design Wall Monday, October 17

I got home yesterday, and was pretty tired. I wasn't up to much last evening, I just knitted for a while, had a nap, took a really long bath, knitted a while more, and went to bed. Wild party animal, that's me ;-)

Today my design wall is sporting the two blocks I got started on from the Improvisational Adventure Quilt class I took on Friday. I'm not sure how much I'll work on these this week, but I'm leaving them up on the design wall because I enjoy looking at them and pondering what comes next.

Check out Judy's blog, to see what other quilters have on their design walls. Thanks for stopping by to play. Come back again soon.

  1. These are dynamic blocks but I too would have to think about what comes next. What are you going to be working on this week???

  2. Good to have a back up craft to work on when you're tired. We quilters work around sharp objects!

  4. That looks like a great way to use small pieces! Very cool

  5. @ Bonnie: Thanks! This week, I'm quilting a couple things, including a challenge piece that's due at a retreat the first weekend in November.

@ Mary: Yes, razor blade on a stick + tired quilter = bad combination ;-)

@ Chris: Thanks! I'll live with them a while and see where to go next.

@ Alycia: Thank you. The class kit was a stack of fat eighths, and a few assorted squares and rectangles. But I did do some crumb piecing for the "center" of the larger block, just because I love to do it ;-)
